Red Carpet Jewels: 2014 Academy Awards

There was plenty of sparkle on the red carpet on Sunday for the 2014 Academy Awards.  Here are some of the night's amazing jewels:

Statement necklace's were one of the trends of the evening.  Naomi Watts wore a Bulgari diamond necklace with a spiderweb design.

The statement necklace of the night was the $15 million Harry Winston diamond cluster pendant worn by Charlize Theron.  With 155 total diamonds, the featured diamond is a 31-carat emerald-cut surrounded by a cluster of diamonds.

Jennifer Lawrence wore a $2 million platinum and diamond necklace by Neil Lane that draped elegantly down her back.  She paired it with 10-carat diamond earring, also by Neil Lane.

The night saw some gorgeous earrings, too.  Lupita Nyong'o wore 18 karat yellow gold spiked crescent diamond earrings by Fred Leighton that she paired with an 18 karat yellow gold and diamond head band for a look that was simplicity at its best.

Sandra Bullock also wore diamond crescent shaped earrings.  A Lorraine Schwartz creation, they were set in platinum and were worth a cool $1.8 million.

Best Actress winner, Australian Cate Blanchett, looked stunning in Chopard earrings that featured 33 carats of Australian opals.  The 62 opals were set in 18 karat white gold with pave diamonds.

Amy Adams wore Tiffany 18 karat yellow gold rhodochrosite, lapis and turquoise earrings set with diamonds.

All in all, it was a great night for jewelry gazing!
