Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift for Elizabeth Arden

I can't express enough how excited I am to learn that Taylor Swift has earned her beauty right to create her first perfume. About time, if I may say so. I'm not exactly a fan but she's exactly what I think should replace Barbie as girls' dream of who to look like when they grow up. She's so poised, soft spoken, and utterly breathe taking with her blonde hair, red lips and smokey eyes. Not to mention that she's incredibly talented, believes in true love and yet doesn't let it hinder in her career.. rather she takes inspiration from it and create beautiful songs with them.

Her first perfume, Wonderstruck is her first collaboration with the beauty bran, Elizabeth Arden. Wonderstruck was inspired by her song "Enchanted". She aims to embody that experience upon meeting someone that you connected with just a look, a conversation, someone who puts a smile on your face late at night hours after meeting that person.

That's exactly how I feel about R the first time he approached me and asked for my number. My BFF could swear that I was on seventh heaven the whole drive going home.

Taylor describes Wonderstruck as "the beginning of something magical." Exactly how I feel when I first met R.

Top notes are: freesia, apple blossom and raspberry
Mid notes are: vanilla, honeysuckle and white hibiscus
Base notes are: golden amber, sandalwood, lush peach

I'm just really excited to take a whiff of this fragrance and take one home with me once it's released here. I just hope that the sandalwood isn't too lingering because I love every notes she picked except for that one.

And who isn't falling for that whimsical bottle? It's like a teenage version of my other favorite, Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker.

Wonderstuck is set to be released in October in the US. I hope it reach the Philippines soon after that.
