Lancôme Hypnôse Doll Lashes - $31 -
Lancôme's newest mascara has a unique, cone-shaped brush that is meant to provide an extremely smooth application,
that precisely defines even your hard-to-reach corners and lower lashes with bristles that offer ultimate separation,
making it easy to layer without any clumping
. The glide-on formula which is enriched with nylon powders, lifts and thickens every single lash without
weighing them down. A combination of hard and soft waxes volumize and curl while
shaping polymers lengthen. The result is an instant wide-eye look.
I have heard some American bloggers complaining about the scent so
you will be happy to know that the Canadian version is not fragranced!
One side is obviously no mascara and the other is 2 coats. I will say that I quite like the brush, it really does make it easy to get all the little lashes that I normally don't even bother with. It also layers easily without clumping. While it is a very nice lengthener and definer, I didn't find it added significant volume so if volume is your thing, you probably won't love this mascara.
From this angle you can see that it does add a bit of curl, nothing dramatic but it does add a nice lift.
Definicils Precious Cells remains my favourite Lancôme mascara - but I really do like this brush so this moves into the number two slot!
