Noodle Bar by Tokyo Latte at JCube

Noodle Bar by Tokyo Latte is a small Japanese/Korean and Western fusion cafe located on the 2nd floor of JCube. 

It is located just beside the clothing shop Kiyo and can be easily spotted once you exit the escalator.

The cafe isn't very packed during dinner time. We were shown to our seats by a friendly uncle who seems to be the owner of the cafe or someone who manages the cafe. 

All the staff are dressed in uniform except him. He helped us with the stuff that we were carrying and ensure that all the things were nicely placed on the chair. 

Our dinner items were as follow:

1. Chicken katsu don - fried tender chicken breast drizzled with mayo and nacho cheese. The don is accompanied with vegetable tempura. The don is mainly filled with food with very little rice. Very good for me who don't eat too much carbo. 

2. Tomato seafood cha soba - fresh seafood ingredients in tomato base soup with cha soba. Portion is not big either but the soup was rather appetizing. Sourish and tasted so much like minestrone. 

3. Ponzu roast chicken - healthy roasted chicken thigh very lightly marinated. Its drizzled with ponzu sauce. 

4. Chawanmushi and side salad - chawanmushi was not as smooth as other restaurants would serve but provides a very homecook taste. Side salad was just minced tomato on lettuce. 

Noodle bar offers affordable, healthy meals good for the old and young. No gst and service charge and ambience comfortable with friendly staff. Do give this cafe a try!
