M.A.C (plus one) Haul

Limited edition things gon' be the death of us.

Way before the NYC trip I'd made some online orders that I collected while abroad.

I wanted a few things from the Toledo collection that I feared would have sold out quickly locally and I also managed to get one item from the super limited Bao Bao Wan collection. The special packaging just gets me!

By some grace of the Father another limited edition product was restocked and Sharalee hooked me up with a quickness:

Bobbi Brown 'Bronze Glow'

It's not M.A.C but since it's an Estee Lauder brand I figured I'd just stick it in there.

Funny enough, the most exciting part of all of this was that I finally got an item via the Back 2 M.A.C program. That's their recycling scheme where you can return six full size items that qualify - i.e. have the 'Back 2 M.A.C' printed on the inside of the packaging - and get a free lipstick or eyeshadow at a M.A.C counter. If you go to a M.A.C Free Standing Store you can redeem those six items for a lipstick, lip glass or eyeshadow.

M.A.C 'Taupe' (Matte) Lipstick and 'Blue Brown' mini Pigment

The M.A.C Artist that assisted me at their Union Square branch was this lovely lass from Antigua. Caribbean stand up! She also wears NC50 so when I asked her for a nude that compliments our complexion she recommended 'Taupe'. After one swatch I was convinced. At the register there were these travel sized pigments and lip glasses. I saw the infamous 'Blue Brown' and just had to have it; Heidi felt for me and purchased it.
